Area Sales Manager(Lagos, Abuja & Kano) Emel Power

About The Job

  • Maintaining computerised database on existing & prospective customers.
  • Planning and implementing direct sales activities to achieve the sales targets
  • Handling key customer accounts effectively.
  • Responding to new leads generated and following up until the lead is converted into customers.
  • Carrying out market research, competitor & customer surveys.
  • Extensive travel to explore potential of remote markets.
  • Establishing mutually acceptable payment terms for the compnay and customer
  • Must have at least 3 years experience in sales with knowledge of power products in Nigerian markets.
  • IT skills must include proficiency in Excel and MS Word
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English.
  • Must be willing to travel within Lagos and outstation markets.

Job Duties

  • Collecting sales data from sales team.
  • Advising sales team on sales plan and stock allocation.
  • Planning new offers to major customers.
  • Meeting customer’s product requirements at all times.
  • Planning strategies to dispose of slow moving items.
  • Identifying improvements required in product/ packaging
  • Keeping abreast of competitors activities & pricing
  • Maintaining computerised database on existing & prospective customers.
