Publish pictures in Gallery Page

We have simplified th process of adding and/or deleting pictures from the gallery page of websites we developed for our customers. This explanation is aimed at advising our customers on how to update their picture gallery page.

To publish more pictures in the future, it’s advisible to edit your picture to desired size that will be displayed properly on a web page when clicked.. We usually use 800Pixels for the Width, the height is auto adjusted to be proportionate with it. You can use any software editor to adjust the picture size such as Irfranview, Corel Draw, Photoshop etc.

After the adjustment to desired size, follow the process below to pubish the pictures on the site.

  1. Login to the backend CPANEL
  2. Click on File Manager
  3. Open Public_html
  4. Open the images folder
  5. Select the folder that contains the gallery pictures on the page. It’s mostly named as ” GALLERY” by ediaro.com team. If you can’t locate it, contact us for more information on the folder name used.
  6. Upload all the images/pictures into the folder
  7. Go Back to your website frontpage and refresh your gallery page, all the images should be displayed properly now.

How to enable Spam Assasin

Spam messages are getting on the rise with the expansion of ecommerce and Social media. A spam is an irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the Internet, typically to large numbers of users, for the purposes of advertising, phishing, spreading malware, etc.

There are many things you can do to minimize this on free email services. But when you host your personal/corporate website on Cpanel, the spam management is quiet narrowed down to you. A software like SpamAssassin can be very helpful in mitigating such spammy emails when you experience this challenge.

SpamAssassin is an Open Source anti-spam platform giving system administrators a filter to classify email and block spam (unsolicited bulk email). It uses a robust scoring framework and plug-ins to integrate a wide range of advanced heuristic and statistical analysis tests on email headers and body text including text analysis, Bayesian filtering, DNS blocklists, and collaborative filtering databases.

To enable SpamAssassin in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. In the Mail section of the cPanel home screen, click Spam Assassin™.
  2. Click Enable Spam Assassin.
  3. To enable auto-deletion of spam messages, select a score level under Filters, and then click Auto-Delete Spam. Alternatively, to disable auto-deletion of spam messages, click Disable Auto-Delete Spam.

    In the score text boxes, you can assign scores to specific tests that SpamAssassin uses to examine incoming messages.

  4. In the blacklist_from text boxes, you can specify e-mail addresses that are known spammers.
  5. In the whitelist_from text boxes, you can specify e-mail addresses that are trusted senders.
  6. To save the new configuration, click Save

AUTOPAY Automatic Payment Solution is a product developed for recurring payments and direct debits/credits. The solution provides an efficient and effective online real-time platform for managing payments to or from many beneficiaries, by transferring funds between accounts based on standing orders or schedules.

AUTOPAY enables Organisations to make mass payments to multiple recipients or beneficiaries. It has feature to store banking details for ease of re-occurent transactions such as paying Staff salary, Vendor Payments, Distributors,co-operative members and other stakeholder payments. Specifically, AUTOPAY support synchronisation with ERP and other applications backend – if an organisation has existing software, portal or infrastructure to connect it with.

 

How It works

AUTOPAY comes with a transaction manager that fetches a particular batch of transactions and loads it in the transaction schedule. Through the Interswitch network, the customers (e.g. employers) account is fetched (in this case) from the database of the organization and is debited on due date at the Interswitch member bank where his account is domiciled.

The database must also have the names of the employees, the bank where their accounts are domiciled and their account numbers. The employees are required to have accounts in any Interswitch member bank. Presently all the major banks in Nigeria are on the Interswitch network.

When a debit is unsuccessful, the solution attempts it periodically for a pre-defined number of times. A schedule of both successful and unsuccessful payments is produced in a customer-defined format.
